LAKEWOOD, Ohio –
Driving under the influence: Detroit Avenue
An officer at 5:43 p.m. May 24 responded to a McDonald’s regarding a woman in a car in the drive-thru who was possibly having a seizure or had passed out. Police charged the woman with driving under the influence, according to a police report.
Theft: Clifton Boulevard
An officer responded at 10:06 a.m. May 26 to CVS pharmacy regarding a woman suspected of stealing two bottles of wine and leaving southbound on W. 117th Street. Officers stopped the woman a short distance away and took her back to the store to be identified. The woman was later taken to an emergency room after saying she thought she was going to pass out. Police cited the woman for shoplifting, according to a police event report.
Burglary: Lakewood Heights Boulevard
A woman called police at 4:13 p.m. May 26 to report coming home to find her black lab missing. She told police she believes an ex-boyfriend broke in and took the dog.
Disorderly conduct: Detroit Avenue
Officers at 9:09 p.m. May 25 responded to an apartment regarding a relative who was intoxicated and causing problems. Officers arrested a male for disorderly conduct while intoxicated.
Disorderly conduct: Detroit Extension
Police at 11:59 p.m. May 23 responded to a report of a man passed out on the sidewalk. The man was cited for disorderly conduct while intoxicated and released to an emergency room.
