A University of Michigan graduate just won big on “Wheel of Fortune.” Toni Washington appeared on “America’s Game” on Friday, May 14. Washington, who is originally from Detroit, graduated a Wolverine in 2002.
Washington moved to Los Angeles in 2011 and lives there with her husband and their two daughters. She currently works in medical sales and teaches dance in her free time.
She took control of tonight’s game early by winning the first toss-up for $1,000. One of her opponents solved the second toss-up for $2,000. However, after that, Washington took control of the game for good.
Washington solved the first main puzzle earning $1,000. She took control of the second puzzle and solved it for $5,700. She kept the streak alive and solved the third puzzle for just $1,100, but also won a trip to Jamaica.
Her opponents solved all three of the next round of toss-ups and the final round went to another opponent, but it wasn’t enough. Washington won the game with $16,290 taking her to the bonus round.

Her bonus prize ended up being $38,000 giving her a total winnings of $54,290.
