OVI: Detroit Avenue
Officers at 10:57 p.m. April 17 responded to the Taco Bell parking lot after witnesses reported a man passed out in his car near the entrance. People banged on the windows but could not awaken the driver. By the time officers arrived, the man had gotten out of the vehicle, and they charged him with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Disorderly conduct: Clifton Boulevard
A complainant called the police department at 12:28 a.m. April 16 to report someone was on the front porch and banging on a door. Police charged the unwanted guest with disorderly conduct while intoxicated.
Driving under the influence: Detroit Avenue
Police at 12:30 a.m. April 20 received a call about two females causing a disturbance at a Detroit Avenue bar and then leaving the bar. An officer stopped the suspects’ car on Phelps Avenue. The officer arrested the driver for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and a female passenger was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated.
Driving under the influence Cohassett Avenue
The police department at 2:02 a.m. April 20 received a call that a woman who seemed highly intoxicated struck a parked car. An adult female is charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Theft: South Lane Drive
An apartment resident at 9:15 a.m. April 19 reported a gun had been stolen out of a vehicle.
Theft: Madison Avenue
An apartment resident reported on April 16 that their unlocked vehicle had been entered overnight and a driver’s license and credit card were taken.
