Would you like to solve the puzzle? It's Tim Quinn.

Quinn, who is now a real estate project manager living in Los Angeles with his fiancé Steven, applied to be a contestant on WheelofFortune.com and battled other hopefuls in an audition.

“I never expected to actually be selected, so getting that email was a fun surprise!” Quinn said. He hopes to use any winnings toward his wedding and honeymoon.

Quinn is a Pittsford Sutherland graduate and former track and cross country standout. Pittsford isn't the only Monroe County town with a tie to the episode. Quinn's dog's name is Webster.

The program is part of Wheel of Fortune's "Wheel Across America" week.

The program's 38th season premiered on Sept. 14 and includes new health and safety protocols. The platform surrounding the wheel was extended to allow for 6 feet of space between host Pat Sajak and the rest of the contestants. A new curved monitor surrounds the wheel, and contestants have been given their own personal spinning cap to allow players to spin the wheel without having to touch the spokes.

Wheel of Fortune airs on weeknights at 7 p.m. on WROC (Channel 8).
