
(NBC News) Police body camera video shows an officer rushing to the rescue of a man in a wheelchair, stuck on railroad tracks as an oncoming train approaches.
The man's wheelchair became stuck before the arms of the railroad crossing in Lodi, California came down.
Luckily officer Erika Urrea of the Lodi Police Department was patrolling the area and saw the railroad crossing arms coming down.
She quickly got out of her car and ran to the man, dragging him to safety. Unfortunately, one of the man's legs was clipped by the train.
He was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
